Busses VanHool A600, A500, A507, A508, AG700, AG500
VanHool started this range in 1985 with a first bus, the A280, which was intended to be a city bus. The A280 will become A500 in 1988.
In 1987, they will create the AM500 to succeed the AU138, around 1989, the AM500 will now be called A508. The A507 was a shortened A508. Only 33 copies were produced.
Seeking to find a successor to the A120, VanHool introduced the A600 in 1989.
Just like the A120, the AG280 had to find a successor. The AG700 was born in 1989 and was quickly replaced by the AG500 in 1997.
Between 1991 and 1993, the entire range will be given a new front hood replacing the round headlights.
After having "facelifted" the whole range, in 1997, the A600 will be completely redesigned and will remain in production until 2002 and will thus be succeeded by the New A600.
